Integrative Medical Aesthetics Program

Inspired By Excellence & Innovation

What We Offer

Our program heavily focuses on hands-on training in dermaplaning, medical grade peels with advanced techniques, medical microdermabrasion with dermal infusions, and micro-needling.  We also provide advanced anatomy and physiology of the skin, in-depth skin evaluation techniques, medically based corrective skincare products and ingredients, laser physics,  and injectables educational theory.

Our curriculum places an emphasis on working with physicians, understanding physician services and bridging the gap between your work in the medical aesthetics field and the physician’s work. We believe that understanding this “Circle of Care” is a critical aspect to becoming a valuable member of any medical aesthetics team.

Upon graduation, you will receive certificates in all of our hands-on training modalities as well as a Medical Aesthetics Certificate of Completion*.  This integrative curriculum offers you greater career advancement opportunities.

A few words from our Program Director…

“With our next program starting soon, I am once again looking forward to being with our new students and sharing in their excitement and eagerness to learn.  A new start always reminds me of how much I love what I do.

I have the unique opportunity, given my position as program director,  to be with our students along each step of their journey.  I get to speak with them when they call to ask questions about the program and the industry. I get to help them figure out if this program is a good fit and meets their needs and expectations.  I am the one who receives all of their admission documents, getting to read about their hopes and dreams for themselves in this amazing industry.  And then, I have the pleasure of telling them that they have been accepted!  I love being the one to deliver that wonderful news.  Then the real fun begins.

It is a privilege to be with them at each class.  Watching them learn new information, trying new skills and then overcoming their nerves to perform the treatments they will be doing throughout their careers, never gets old.  It’s an honor to be a part of each of their journeys.

I can’t wait to get started!”

Medical Aesthetics Program Benefits

The program provides you with education, hands on training and industry certifications in high quality advanced procedures and products. This enables you to offer and perform highly effective, higher cost treatments. For example: A 30 minute Micro-pen procedure comes with a cost to the client of $299 to $399 vs. a 1 hour standard facial with a cost to the client of $55 to $75, depending on the business and its location. These high dollar treatments allow for higher commissions, higher “per procedure” based payouts or higher hourly pay. Medical aesthetic establishments offer varying compensation styles, we cannot guarantee which you will receive.

Medically based procedures bring greater change. Treating the skin at the deeper levels of the epidermis and dermis allows you to perform not only preventative and anti-aging skincare procedures, but also most importantly corrective skincare procedures. These procedures change the look and feel of your client’s skin in a very profound way.

Our program places a huge emphasis on your understanding all of the procedures available to your clients, even the procedures the physician performs. This gives you the ability to evaluate the client’s needs and understand what you can do for them and what the physician can do for them. It is so important to be able to recognize where your limitations are, where the physician can step in to take the client farther down the road to correcting their issue and how to manage the client’s expectations of what is possible for them. This understanding and ability establishes you as an integral part of the circle of care the client receives and a valuable asset to the practice you are working for!

There are many skincare professionals interested in obtaining positions in the medical aesthetics field. In our geographic area, we are the first and only comprehensive and integrative medical aesthetics program. Graduates of our program will have gained considerable experience and knowledge in the medical aesthetics field, putting them far ahead of the pack. Most applicants seeking positions will have no exposure or limited experience in the field. As a graduate of our program, you come to a physician’s aesthetic practice thoroughly trained and ready to go. This makes you a very valuable candidate for employment in a medical spa, dermatologist’s office or a plastic surgeon’s office.

For those graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit, this is exciting news! You will be able to develop your own medical skincare practice within any existing medical practice that is physician owned. You will be able to perform Dermaplaning treatments, microdermabrasion with dermal infusions, advanced level peels and techniques, and Micro-pen procedures. You will be able to partner with the physician to bring these services to their existing practice. We incorporate this information into our curriculum to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to sell yourself and your ability in the medical aesthetics field.
